The innovative IESS experience begins at school, with projects and workshops, and continues beyond the classroom with educational trips, international exchanges and international projects.
Projects
Project-based learning sparks your interest and helps you develop problem-solving, planning and time-management skills. Every project is a challenge!
- Interdisciplinary projects, including in English (CLIL)
- STEAM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics)
- Afternoon enrichment programmes (creative writing, robotics, theatre, etc…)

IESS actively engages with the local community through partnerships and agreements with universities, business associations, theatres, civic museums, associations and research institutes.

Thanks to Active Learning, you learn by doing through hands-on laboratory experience across all subjects.

IESS has its own science, technology and language laboratories and works with specialist external labs through dedicated agreements with universities, research centres, Fab Labs and high-tech centres.

Every year, the school organises educational trips and visits. Travelling is about more than seeing new places; it’s above all an opportunity to grow. Every place we visit teaches us something new and helps us become more aware of ourselves and the world we live in.
